When a certain being called "the Count" appeared one night before Lucius under the light of a full moon painted in scarlet, he claimed that his goal was to rule over all the demons in the world. Although many yielded to the Count's demands and swore their loyalty to him, Lucius and his sister were too proud to bend the knee. The battle that then ensued between the opposing parties destroyed a great part of the region and continued until the sky itself was tainted blood-red, leaving Lucius and Lilith with severe injuries. |
